The equipment is mainly used to retieve alcohol in the industry of Chinese medicine, western medicine, glucose, winemaking, starch, oralliquid che-mistry, foodstuff and dairy products, It has application in heat sensitive low-temperature vacuum concentration of small lots quantity but many sorts.
The R series evaporators have an heating system based on heat pump(HP) and operate under vacuum at 5 Kpa and around 30(86F). The heat exchange is done by aconical jacket while the inner side of the boil- ing chamber is cleaned by the internal scrapers that continuously sitr the conc- entrate. This particular concentration is designed to produce a concentrateion and a distillate with low conductivity.
The R series production capacity varies from 150 to 2000 litres per day and is supplied with several different systems for the discharge of rhe concentrate.
As in every LED product, the evaporation process is controlled by a PLC that controls the automatic feed of the waste waters to be treated and the dischar- ging of the distillate and concentrate, requiring only a minimum if supervision by the opeator.
The R series is acailable in a variety of different alloys depending on the nature of the feed, this is particulatly important when treating aggressive waste.
The R series evaporators are particularly suitable when:
1. The waste waters have a high initial content of dissolved or suspended substance;
2. The waste waters have been already pre-concentrated;
3. The daily volumes are relatively small;
4. The distillate haw to be of the highest quality;
5. The concentrate has to be recycled
The R series is often supplied to the following markets:

The apparatus is an evaporator for the treatment of the llquids at aqueons base. It exploits the combined effects of the vacuum the heat pump to obtain boiling at low temperature(30 to 40)
The liquid to be treated is aspired in the room of evaporation D01 by the effect of the depression (4-5Kpa absolute). Heat necessary to its boiling is transmitted to him by the cxchange of heat E01 positioned in the conical part of the room D01. In order to prevent any risk of pollution of the distillate, the water vapor is filteredin the device H03. It is then condensed on the level of the cxchanger E03 located in the superior part of the room of evaporation D01. A scraper maintains in agiration the liquid to be concentrated. One AV-oids the sedimentation of the solid matter thus all while constantly maintaining heat exchange with the heating part.
The draining of the concentrate is carried out by means of self-closing valve V04/ H04 and of the solid matter thus all while constantly maintaining heat exchange with the heating part.
The distillate is evacuted by overflow since the tank of reception D02(leftN on diagram). The refrigerating machine compressor K01 compresses the gas freon: One thus obtains the calories necessary to the boiling of the effluent. The calories are trans- mitted to the liquid of process by means of the exchanger of heat E01. At exit fo exchanger, the gas freon joined a aotherme E02 in excess is dissipated. The fluid cooling passes then through valves of expansion TCV01 and TCV02. The expansion of freon generates the negative kilocalores necessary on the one hand to the co- ndensation of the vapor (by means of the exchange of heat E03) and on the other hand to the maintenance with 20of the distillate (by means of the exchange of heat E04).
